Vijay's Take

  • “There is this understanding that the open web has to exist for the LLMs. They coexist in a certain form because you create content, I live on top of that, and then I create AI experiences. That's kind of like the current status. ”
  • “I feel it personally, I think the LLMs will not get the scale of diversity because yeah, sure. There are, there's so much duplicate content and there's not real value in that experience because it's like the user experience being corrupt, but
There are still millions and millions of publishers and it brings a lot more diversity in terms of content that you're getting access to.”

Scott's Take

  • “We've only begun to unleash this monster. But if you're like me at Ad Tech and in publishing, change is job security. We're not here to maintain a single system. We are here to adapt it for whatever the needs it requires. Ask yourself, does a person really want to read this? Am I the best at this? Did I answer all the questions? Did I give them a good user experience? Was my site fast? And the chances are that answer is no.for lot of people.“
  • “I firmly believe that the open web should exist and it will exist, but you have to play out this apocalyptic scenario to understand the way that the world is moving around you and sometimes through you.“
